Get notified the moment essential supplies become available at your preferred stores. Never waste time searching—be among the first to know when ice, propane, gasoline, or other critical items arrive.
How Supply Alerts Work
1. Set an Alert
Go to any store and tap "Set Alert" for items you want to monitor. You can set alerts for specific items, multiple stores, or combine both.
2. Get Notified Instantly
When community reports confirm that item is in stock at your alerted store, you'll receive an immediate push notification with the store name and availability status.
3. Take Action Immediately
Tap the notification to see directions, confirm current availability, or check other nearby stores with the same item.
Managing Your Alerts
In your Premium Dashboard, see all active alerts and:
- Enable or disable alerts without deleting them
- Adjust notification frequency (instant, daily digest, or weekly)
- Remove alerts you no longer need
- Set up to [PLACEHOLDER: insert number] simultaneous alerts
Disaster Alerts
Receive advance notice when disasters occur in your region, with detailed information from official sources and community coordinators. Premium members get:
Early Warning Notifications
Get notified before or immediately as disasters are declared in your area, giving you critical minutes to prepare.
Detailed Disaster Information
When tapping a disaster alert, see comprehensive information including type of disaster, affected areas, essential resources, and official guidance.
Community Resources
See shelters, emergency contacts, medical facilities, and other critical resources established for your region's response.
What Triggers Disaster Alerts?
Administrators in your region can declare disasters for various situations:
- Hurricanes, tornadoes, severe weather

Preparation Checklists
Emergency preparedness requires planning. Premium members get access to customizable preparation checklists based on their region and situation.

Using Checklists
1. Select a Checklist
Choose from pre-built checklists or create a custom checklist from scratch.
2. Customize for Your Needs
Add, remove, or modify items based on your household size, pets, medical needs, and situation.
3. Track Progress
Check off items as you acquire them. SupplyScout shows your completion percentage and estimates completion time.
4. Find Items on the Map
For items on your checklist, tap "Find This Item" to search SupplyScout's supply map and locate nearby stores.

Favorite Stores
Mark your preferred stores for quick access during emergencies. Premium members get an organized list of favorite stores with special features.
Adding Favorites
Mark any store as a favorite by tapping the heart icon on the store popup. Favorites appear in a dedicated list in your app.

Quick Supply View
See current supply availability at all your favorite stores without searching the map.
Priority Alerts
When you set supply alerts, favorite stores can be prioritized for notifications.
Offline Access
View your favorite stores and their last-known supply status even without internet connection.
History
See supply history for favorite stores, showing trends over time (when a store typically runs out, when they restock, etc.)
Organizing Favorites
Group favorites by category or location:
- By distance from home
- By store type (grocery, hardware, gas station)
- By custom labels you create

Cancellation
You can cancel your premium subscription at any time. Your access continues until your paid period ends, then reverts to free features. Your data, alerts, and checklists are preserved.
